GlowTouch Charitable Trust is involved in various charitable works some of which are listed as follows:
  • GlowTouch – Certificate of Appreciation from Father Muller Medical College Hospital (Thursday, April 15, 2010)
    Diya Systems (Mangalore) Pvt. Ltd. (GlowTouch Technologies), in joint association with Fr. Muller Medical College Hospital had organized a Blood Donation Camp on March 31st ’10 at our Campus. About 100 employees from our organization had volunteered to donate their blood for a noble cause. As recognition of our gesture of goodwill, the Father Muller Medical College Hospital has awarded a Certificate of Appreciation to Diya Systems and offered their sincere gratitude to all the donors.
  • GlowTouch – Blood Donation Camp organized by Diya Systems / GlowTouch Technologies (Wednesday, March 31, 2010)
    Diya Systems (Mangalore) Pvt. Ltd. (GlowTouch Technologies), in joint association with Fr. Mullers Medical College Hospital organized a Blood Donation Camp on March 31st ’10 at their own Campus. The Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated by chief guests Dr. B. Srinivas Kakkilaya one of the renowned Physicians of Mangalore, Dr. Bharath Kumar (Company Physician), Dr. V. Ravichandran (C.E.O) and Mrs. Indira Ravichandran (Managing Director) by lighting of the lamp. The staff of Diya Systems extended their complete cooperation and support by donating their blood. Around 100 employees in total volunteered themselves for this noble cause. This is the second time Diya Systems / GlowTouch Technologies is organizing the blood donation camp. Speaking at the inaugural function, Dr. V. Ravichandran mentioned that his intention is to conduct this camp on an ongoing basis atleast twice a year.
  • GlowTouch – Visit to Palaiyur Village, Tamil Nadu (Thursday, February 18, 2010)
    Dr. V. Ravichandran, CEO of GlowTouch Technologies and Mrs. Indira Ravichandran, Managing Director, visited their native village Palaiyur in Tamil Nadu and spent sometime with the Management and Children of Palaiyur School. They officially inaugurated the new School playground and two classrooms for which they have donated Rs. 1.60 lakhs. They also made a generous contribution in terms of school books worth Rs. 10,000, dictionaries for the children of Class VIII, IX and X, library books and also sponsored the prizes for the various sports events. They also planted samplings in the school campus.
  • GlowTouch – Visit to the Home for the Aged, Bajjodi (Sunday, December 27, 2009)
    The Management of GlowTouch Technologies visited the Home for the Aged located at Bajjodi and spent time with the old aged residents. They made a generous contribution in the terms of clothes on account of the Christmas feast. Clothes like Dhotis, Kurtas, Pants, Shirts, Saris and so on was handed over to the old age people. Ms. Anjali also entertained them by playing piano. Mrs. Vidya Ravichandran, Dr. V. Ravichandran, Mrs. Indira Ravichandra and Mr. Vikram Chadha were also present during this occasion.
  • GlowTouch – Visit to the Navachethana Orphanage (Friday, December 25, 2009)
    The Management of GlowTouch Technologies recently organized free lunch for the residents of the Navachethana Orphanage on account of the Christmas Feast. Navachethana orphanage consists of approx. 90 children and is located at Kuttarpadavu. Mrs. Vidya Ravichandran, Dr. V. Ravichandran, Mrs. Indira Ravichandra, Mr. Vikram Chadha and Ms. Anjali were present during this occasion.
  • Little Sisters of the Poor
    GlowTouch Technologies, a Louisville, KY-based IT/ITES Company having its development center located in Mangalore, Karnataka recently helped the Little Sisters of the Poor (Home for the aged) by providing space at their office campus to display the handicrafts made by the residents of the home for the aged. The handicrafts displayed were specifically designed and made by the old people residing at the center. The employees of GlowTouch Technologies showed keen interest in the handicrafts and helped the Little Sisters of the Poor by purchasing these items.
  • Contribution towards Chief Minister’s Flood Relief Fund & Red Cross Society of India

    On account of the recent crisis that has crippled most of the districts of Northern Karnataka, the Management and staff of GlowTouch Technologies / Diya Systems felt it their social responsibility to render services in some form to the people of the flood afflicted areas of the Northern Districts. In this regards, the Management and Staff of the Company have contributed generously in cash and also in kind towards this noble cause. Our staff’ including the housekeeping and office boys have donated liberally for the same.

    A cheque of Rs. 1, 40,301 (Rupees One Lakh Forty Thousand Three Hundred and One Only) was handed over by Dr. V. Ravichandran, C.E.O of the Company to Mr. Krishna Palemar, District in-charge Minister during a short gathering held at DC’s office today (October 8, 2009). Also present at the gathering were Mr. Shanker Bhat, Mayor of Mangalore; Mr. Ponnuraj, I.A.S, Deputy Commissioner, D.K District and Dr. Subramanieshwara Rao, IPS, Superintendent of Police, D.K District and Mr. Yogish Bhat, MLA of Mangalore

    The Staff has also donated clothes of various kinds and this has been handed over to the flood victims through the Red Cross Society of India. Some of the items donated are listed herewith below:

  • Blood Donation camps
    By donating blood we help save many lives. This is a holy activity which is above all Casts and Religions.
  • Food for the orphans
    We try to make a difference in the life of an orphaned child by showing them that WE Care.
  • Donation of classrooms to Navachethana School
    GlowTouch Charitable Trust has worked towards the advancement of the weakly aided Navachethana School by providing two classrooms for better accommodation of students in the year 2004 & 2006 respectively.
  • Regular donations and other services rendered towards “Home for the Aged”
    The management of this Trust always makes it a point to visit Home for the Aged and spend sometime with the deprived old people. They organize shows and give them an opportunity to showcase their talents. They also render other services in terms of providing grocery and other necessary equipments.
  • Scholarship for students
    GlowTouch Charitable Trust in association with the Rotary Club of Mangalore has provided scholarship for students to United States to pursue higher education.
  • Distribution of school books to the children of the House keeping staff of GlowTouch Technologies
    Though the housekeeping staffs of GlowTouch Technologies were deprived of Education, they have dreams of giving their children good education. To make their dream come true, the Management through its Trust always provides support to their children for the enhancement of their studies.
  • Scholarship/Donation for Rural school children of Palaiyur, Tamil Nadu
    The village has a lower literacy rate and most of the people are agriculturist or coolie workers. Our Trust provides funds for the supplementary education of the rural area children of Palaiyur.
